 TSI Harley-Davidson began selling Harley-Davidson® motorcycles in 1972 and started selling Buell® models in 1990. We are the oldest Harley-Davidson and Buell dealer in Connecticut. | TSI has been awarded Harley-Davidson Motor Company's 2008 Calendar year Bar & Shield Circle of Achievement Award. TSI earned the award based upon their motorcycle and related product sales performance, an evaluation of customer service and satisfaction, and various operational measures.

 "Think Snowmobiles Inc" began in the early '60's in the garage of Harry Levesque, Sr. The business soon outgrew the garage and moved to a small building in the Crystal Lake section of Ellington. Polaris snowmobiles were the main business back then. In 1968, Think Snowmobiles was incorporated and the owners Harry Levesque, Sr., Frank Grumbach and Joseph Lukeman started on a new building across the street. In 1972, Think Snowmobiles, Inc. became TSI Harley-Davidson with the approval of a Harley-Davidson franchise. In 1986, Harry Levesque, Sr. moved the business to 390 Somers Road to a more marketable area. Now the sole owner of TSI, Harry, Sr. purchased the building next door and built a designer store in 1991. We quickly outgrew that new store and had to build on a 4,000 sq. ft. service department.
Harry Sr. retired in 2000 and Harry Jr., who has been in the business since 1977, took over the operations. We were requested by Harley-Davidson to open a Service Retail Outlet (SRO) in 2001, so we opened a store in Willimantic, CT. After a period of growth in the original Willimantic facility, we were ready to become a Full-line Dealership. On September 15, 2004 we became a Full-line Dealership. In Aug 2005, we moved into our present location in Columbia CT.
Harry Jr. purchased the original 390 Somers Road location in the spring of 2003. We have renovated to add office space, a pre-owned bike showroom and service bays.
Over the years, our motorcycle allotment has grown from 75 to 400. TSI Harley-Davidson and TSI Columbia Harley-Davidson employ over 40 people. We would not be where we are today if it weren't for these hard working dedicated employees. |
